Hey friends! I am so excited to share my first layout using the new Fairy Garden collection from Doodlebug Design!
I trimmed down the Pink Posies 12×12 pattern paper and adhered to a piece of white textured cardstock from Doodlebug Design. I pulled out all the Fairy Garden embellishments to fill in the line between the pattern paper and the white cardstock. I used icon stickers, mini icons and odds & ends. Some embellishments are popped up on foam adhesive to add dimension.
The Doodlebug Design Garden Flowers go perfect with this collection so I put together a few of them to add to the layout. I matted my photos using a pink paper from the Fairy Garden 6×6 paper pad and popped it up on foam tape.
For the title I found two chit chat pieces that were perfect for my photos and they are popped up with foam tape. I added a few speech bubbles that had rainbow colors to match the photos of Alyssa’s Rainbow party!
This layout was so fun to put together and the design is so simple but I love all the little embellishments I was able to get onto this page! I would love to see you create a diagonal design like this using your Doodlebug Design stash!
Hey friends! Today I am sharing a super sweet layout using the Echo Park Cupid & Co collection I received from A Cherry on Top Crafts. I also used some of the Sweet Talk collection from Simple Stories.
I recently took some photos of our pittie Lola Bean cuddled on the couch! She is totally obsessed with our new Valentines pillows! She loves this long skinny red one and she cuddles with it every chance she gets. She is not allowed to be on the couch unless there is a blanket down or we give her permission so she pulls the blanket down from the arm of the couch and gathers the pillows and makes herself a nest.
I had this cut file already cut that says Hooked on You and thought it would be perfect to go along with this photos. I backed the cut file with papers from the Echo Park Cupid & Co paper pad. For the background I used some white textured cardstock and used some Lindy’s Stamp Gang to add color. I popped up the cut file on some foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and placed it onto the page.
I used embellishments from the Cupid & Co collection to embellish around the layout. I also fussy cut some florals from one of the 12×12 pattern papers. I pulled out some enamel dots from Simple Stories Sweet Talk collection and sprinkled around my page.
I found a sweet epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio and added to an embellishment cluster I created on the cut file. I love the pinks and reds on this layout and the little bits of black.
Hey friends! Today I am participating in the A Cherry on Top January YouTube hop!

I decided to go with an 8.5×11 layout and try to follow the sketch pretty close. I did change up the amount of tags and photos to fit my layout better. I love all the floral ephemera pieces in The Avenue collection by Pebbles.
Head on over to my YouTube channel to see my process video that goes along with this layout! If you are interested in the collection I used you can find it HERE at A Cherry on Top Crafts! Hey friends! I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend! Today I am up on the A Cherry on Top blog sharing a layout using the Paige Evans Go The Scenic Route collection. This collection is so fun and colorful and I have seen it used for so many different types of layouts!
I found a cut file from Lacey Ann Designs that I thought would be perfect to go along with the photos. I backed it with a single piece of pattern paper from the Paige Evans Go The Scenic Route collection. I wanted to add the cut file to the page at a diagonal just to switch it up a bit and love how it turned out. I used a piece of white American Crafts White Textured cardstock as my base and trimmed it down to 11.50×11.50 which is usually the size I use when I want to mat it on a piece of pattern paper.
I pulled out both of the Go The Scenic Route ephemera packs and pulled a bunch of the florals and butterflies out to add to my page. I like to add some elements directly on the cut file. I think it brings attention to the large title piece. Popping these elements up on foam adhesive gives lots of dimension to the page. One of my favorite foam adhesives is the black foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L!
I used one of the puffy stickers and layered it on the butterfly adhered to the cut file. The puffy stickers in the Go The Scenic Route collection are so pretty and I just love the soft feel of them! If you have not yet picked up this sticker back you can find it here in the ACOT shop! It is really a great set and can go with so many other different collections. To finish up my layout I matted it on Paper 8 from the collection. I love all the colors in this paper and think it really makes the layout pop. To see the full layout head on over to the A Cherry on Top blog HERE!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have been inspired to use the Paige Evans Go The Scenic Route collection! Have a wonderful day!

This month we are using mood boards as our inspiration.
I pulled inspiration from both boards. I loved the soft pink tones in the first board and falling snow. In the second image I loved the stars so made sure to add some stars on my layout. I went into my stash of products from A Cherry on Top and pulled out some older but just as fabulous stuff! I really loved the pink in the Honey & Spice collection from Heidi Swapp so I used some of it to back a new cut file from Cut To You. I thought the Color Flow paper would be the perfect paper to back all the trees! Using one patter paper to back all the trees at once made it quick and easy to get this file backed!
I also pulled out some of the Crate Paper Snowflake collection which is a beautiful winter collection! There is a specialty paper in this collection that has stars with gold foil on it that I thought would be fun to fussy cut! I used some of these fussy cut stars to back the stars on the trees of my cut file.
I wanted to create something soft for my background so I used some vellum and tore it into strips and adhered down to a piece of white American Crafts Textured Cardstock. I distressed the edges of the vellum with my Tim Holtz scissors and love how it turned out. To add a little extra to the background I used some gold mist to add some splatter to the background.
I pulled out just a few embellishments form the Snowflake collection like these little houses and tucked them in next to the cut file. I added a chipboard tree from the Snowflake collection and some word stickers above my photos! The photos are selfies from my first holiday drink from Starbucks this year! The holiday drinks are always my favorite and it is a new tradition for my daughter and I to go and get one and purchase a new holiday mug!
Thank you so much for hopping with us today! I hope you feel inspired to create with one of the mood boards we shared! If you do create a project using one of the mood boards please tag us on Facebook, Instagram or upload into the Cherry Gallery! I hope you all have a great week and let me know in the comments if you are Starbucks holiday drink fan!
Hey friends! I am so excited to share my first layout using the Doodlebug Designs Night Before Christmas collection.
I used a large title cut file from my friend Lacey Ann Designs Etsy shop as my starting point for my layout! She is having a great sale right now and her cut files are as low as $0.79! I love the font and wide border of this cut file. It makes it easy and quick to back with pretty papers. I used papers from the Night Before Christmas 6×6 paper pad and some from one of the Doodlebug Design petite prints. I wanted to pull in some of the soft pink color in the collection.
I added a few mini icon stickers around my photos and one of the banners in the Night Before Christmas chit chat pieces. When using a big title piece like the cut file I also like to add die cuts and stickers around the cut file.
The little mice were perfect to add around my page! To finish off the page I trimmed down my white base to 11.50×11.50 and matted it on the beautiful Snow Magical pattern paper from Night Before Christmas. I used my We R Memory Keepers typewriter to type out my journaling and cut into strips to add to the bottom of my page. Head on over to the Doodlebug Design Blog to see my completed page using the new Night Before Christmas collection.
Hey friends and welcome to the A Cherry on Top Blog Hop! You should have arrived from The Cherry Blog! I will have the line up down below for you and the link to your next stop at the end of my post. I am so excited for our hop this month! This month we decided to do something a little different and create albums or travelers notebooks! I just love creating mini books so I was so excited to get started.
Blog Hop Line Up
I really wanted to create something fun to document my November 2020 in and the Simple Stories Cozy Days collection was perfect! I will not be doing a daily grateful album but I will be documenting things that I love and that I am grateful for. I have set up my album and it is ready for photos and journaling and I am excited for this month!
To create my album I pulled out some of my favorite dies from my stash. A lot of these are just loose dies I keep in a zip pouch that I have had for years but I will leave links down below to similar dies I can find for you in the A Cherry on Top shop! I used different papers from the Cozy Days collection from Simple Stories. I just love all the colors in this collection. It definitely has a cozy warm feel to it and has many pieces that are perfect to document what you are grateful for.
The cut apart sheets from the collection are great to add to mini albums for journal spots or for photo mats! You an also just use them to add a pretty element to your book. Not every page has to have a photo on it. Including pretty images or a pretty die cuts to the album is something I love to do and adds some interest to your book!
I used a pretty rose gold binder clip to hold all my pages together and tied some ribbon and twine to it for some texture.
I can’t wait to fill this sweet book up with photos and journaling from this month. Once it is all filled up I will do a flip through on my blog and YouTube channel! For a last minute touch a saw some new cut files released from Cut to You. So I cut some out on some American Crafts white cardstock and backed them with papers from Cozy Days and added them to my album!
To check out the Cozy Days collection head on over to the A Cherry on Top shop! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my sweet little mini album! If you create your own album I would love to see it! Tag me on Facebook or Instagram! Your next stop along the way is Natalie!
I really wanted to use the brand new Pumpkin Spice collection from Doodlebug Design and a fun cut file from Jillibean Soup available in the Silhouette Design Store! The collection and the cut file are the perfect match and I had so much fun backing this cut file using the Pumpkin Spice 6×6 paper pad! I picked out a handful of patterns I wanted to use and stuck with those papers to back the cut file. I try to pick out my papers before I get started and I usually stick with 3-5 different papers so it does not get to crazy!
I love using big title cut files like this on my layouts. It helps me to use a lot of different pattern papers and colors and make a big statement on my page.
I had some fun selfies from when I had my first pumpkin spice latte of 2020! I just had to take a photo right!? I also tried one of the Starbucks pumpkin cream cheese muffins! YUM! It was so good! I printed my photos at home and they are just under a 2×2 size. I added them to the top of the cut file and added in some Pumpkin Spice stickers and die cuts to each side of the photo.
I tucked in a couple stickers at the top of my photos that came from the 12×12 Pumpkin Spice sticker sheet. I love all the adorable faces on the Doodlebug icons! I really like to have some stickers or die cuts peeking out around the cut file so I used the Pumpkin Spice mini icon stickers to add around the cut file!
I think it is so fun to see the little faces on these icons peeking out around the cut file! I had so much fun working with this collection! It has the perfect color palette for fall photos! Here is a look at my completed layout!

Today I am using the awesome new Essentials Tag Die which comes with 7 pieces! Perfect to create so many different projects! I had so much fun creating a sweet and chunky mini album to document our Red Nose Pitbull Lola!
I love creating mini albums and using the Pinkfresh Studio Essentials Tag Die made it super simple to create my base pages. The stitching gives it such a nice finished look and adds that pop of interest to each page.
I used the largest die and cut out some white textured cardstock, vellum and some pattern papers from the beautiful new Days of Splendor collection from Pinkfresh Studio! This collection is gorgeous and worked well to document our sweet Lola Beans.
I love to create pages in all sizes and shapes so I used the smaller tag die and cut out more papers from Days of Splendor and some vellum. The vellum adds a nice texture to the album.
I used some of the tags from the Days of Splendor collection as extra pages in my album. These are also great to add your journaling.
Using the Essentials Tag Die set made it super simple to create this album. I love all the details and the shaped pages. It is the perfect size and I know this set is going to be used over and over again!
I love layering the smaller tag dies on top of the larger tag dies! The florals peeking out on the sides help add interest and make you want to keep flipping the pages. Once great feature of the Essential Tag dies is that you can create windows inside the tags! Perfect for creating shaker elements or using them to frame a photo I like I did for my cover!
The Essentials Tag Die set is a must have in your stash! You will fall in love with creating these fun mini albums or using them on your cards! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
