Hey friends! I am back with another layout using the Cake Smash collection from Fancy Pants Designs. This layout was part of the Scrapping Boys 2.0 YouTube series with Christine Meyer! She hosted this awesome series and I was so thankful that she asked me to join in on one of the days. You can check out Christine’s channel HERE.
I am scrapping some photos from Eli James 2nd Birthday party. We had a crab themed birthday party for him and it was a lot of fun. The colors of the Cake Smash collection go great with the photos I am using.
I am also using a cut file from Cut to You and you can grab it in their shop HERE. I thought this file was fun and added the right amount of interest to my background. I backed it with pattern papers from the Cake Smash 6×8 paper pad. I popped the cut file up on some foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L. I embellished around the photos using the Cake Smash ephemera and sticker sheet. This layout came together so easy using the cut file and products from Fancy Pants Designs. Here is a look at my completed layout.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! You can see my process video HERE on my YouTube or down below. Have a wonderful day!

Hey friends! Erica here with you today to share my first project with you as a Design Team member for Fancy Pants Designs. I hope you find inspiration in what I share with you. For my first project I am using the A Cherry on Top collection from Fancy Pants Designs and a cut file from my good friend Lacey Ann Designs. You can grab this free cut file HERE on Lacey’s blog! I thought this cut file would be perfect with this collection and my photo.
I cut the file out on some white textured cardstock. I used the A Cherry on Top 6×8 paper pad to back the cut file. Once my cut file was backed I added foam squares all over the back of the cut file to add some dimension to my layout. I also like to make sure the cut file is popped up so I can tuck things in around the file.
I took this photo recently of my new favorite sundae from the ice cream shop that just opened up in town! Turtle Cheesecake Sundae! It is seriously so yummy. I matted the photo on the pretty pink floral paper from the Cherry on Top collection and tucked it in to the right side of the cut file. I added a strip of pattern paper from the collection pack to the top and bottom of my layout to help frame the page. I used some floral die cuts to embellish around my page and that super cute cherry from the A Cherry on Top chipboard.
To finish off my layout I added some of the A Cherry on Top Puffy Dots around the page and added a little bit of journaling. I typed it out on my We R Memory Keepers typewriter and cut it out into strips using my paper trimmer. Here is a look at my completed layout using the A Cherry on Top collection.

For my next project I put together a mini album filled with photos of our youngest baby Eli James and his many adventures. The cover photo was just taken yesterday as we were leaving the doctors office. He is getting so big he likes to walk on his own now and carry his own bag like a big boy! I had to photograph this time and document it. Time goes by way to fast and I want to remember every bit of it! If you have been to my blog before you know how much I love to make minis! I used the new We R Memory Keepers Evolution machine to die cut some of the papers from the kit for the pages of my album. The machine came with some great dies that were perfect to create my pages. Next all I needed to do was add some layers, my photos and embellish my pages!
Thanks so much for spending some time with me today! You next stop is Lacey and you are going to love what she has to share with you! Remember to leave comments along the way, follow the Clique Kits blog and Facebook for your chance to win the Wish You Were Here stamp set by Lawn Fawn and a roll of green chevron washi tape!
