Hey friends! I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend! Today I am up on the A Cherry on Top blog sharing a layout using the Paige Evans Go The Scenic Route collection. This collection is so fun and colorful and I have seen it used for so many different types of layouts!
I found a cut file from Lacey Ann Designs that I thought would be perfect to go along with the photos. I backed it with a single piece of pattern paper from the Paige Evans Go The Scenic Route collection. I wanted to add the cut file to the page at a diagonal just to switch it up a bit and love how it turned out. I used a piece of white American Crafts White Textured cardstock as my base and trimmed it down to 11.50×11.50 which is usually the size I use when I want to mat it on a piece of pattern paper.
I pulled out both of the Go The Scenic Route ephemera packs and pulled a bunch of the florals and butterflies out to add to my page. I like to add some elements directly on the cut file. I think it brings attention to the large title piece. Popping these elements up on foam adhesive gives lots of dimension to the page. One of my favorite foam adhesives is the black foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L!
I used one of the puffy stickers and layered it on the butterfly adhered to the cut file. The puffy stickers in the Go The Scenic Route collection are so pretty and I just love the soft feel of them! If you have not yet picked up this sticker back you can find it here in the ACOT shop! It is really a great set and can go with so many other different collections. To finish up my layout I matted it on Paper 8 from the collection. I love all the colors in this paper and think it really makes the layout pop. To see the full layout head on over to the A Cherry on Top blog HERE!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have been inspired to use the Paige Evans Go The Scenic Route collection! Have a wonderful day!
Hello Everyone! Today I am sharing a layout that I created for the Spiegelmom Scraps & Scrappin Happy Studio Instagram Hop! I love both of these ladies and the products they offer in their shops! I was very excited when Jody asked me to join them in this hop!
I pulled out my Good Times cut file that I gave out to my February crop attendees and some Jillibean Soup Garden Harvest collection! The colors in this collection make my heart race. They are just gorgeous and can be used for so many projects! I wanted to document the group at my crop so I printed out one of the photos we took in black and white since we had so many colors going on in the photo.
We had so much fun at the crop and I am so thankful for all these wonderful creative ladies! I used some American Crafts smooth white cardstock to cut my file and also as my background paper. I pulled out some Catherine Pooler inks in coordinating colors and adding some splashes of color to the white cardstock. I then picked out the patterns of paper that I wanted to back my file with. It is super simple to trace the letters and cut them out to add to the cut file.
I love to add the die cuts tucked into my word cut files like this. The Jillibean Soup Pea Pod Packs are jam packed with beautiful pieces! I also added some tiny black heart sequins from Spiegelmom Scraps and an epoxy heart from Scrappin Happy Studio!
To last thing I did was add one of the washi stickers from Jillibean Soup to the bottom of my page and some fun tabs to the top of my photo. Here is a look at my completed layout!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Please take a minute and check out Spiegelmom Scraps and Scrappin Happy Studio. Have a wonderful day!

Hello!! Wow it has been a long time since I have posted to my blog! I really miss it! My life has been crazy busy over the last few months. I wanted to pop in quick and share a layout I created with the August 2014 Clique Kit! This kit features the Citrus Bliss collection from Pink Paislee and is filled with yummy embellishments! I also picked up a few extra add ons from the Clique Kits shop!
My layout came together pretty quickly after making the dreadful first cut! I always have the hardest time cutting into the beautiful paper! After trying to decide what papers I wanted to use I just decided to cut most of them into layering pieces and leaving a few of them whole. This made it very easy to just start layering behind my photo! I also applied some ink and mist to my white background using the packaging technique. I love how this all came together and it is one of my favorites! The photo was from a few weeks ago when I attended the CHA Paper Arts + show in Schaumburg IL. I met up with one of my friends and enjoyed this fabulous drink served in a pineapple! I knew this photo would be perfect with this kit! Here is a look at my completed layout!
Now I hope you all agree with me on how fabulous that drink looks! The presentation of it was fabulous! I hope you enjoyed my layout today and I hope to be posting to my blog more often! School will be starting soon so I will have some free time during the nap time hours of my youngest to get some crafting done! I hope you all enjoy your day!
Welcome to Clique Kits May blog share! You should have arrived from the Clique Kits

to start the hop from the beginning! Our May kit Carnival featured the Rise & Shine collection from the one and only Amy Tangerine.
I was able to meet Amy Tangerine at the winter CHA show and of coarse I had to get a photo with her and Jack! Today I am sharing the layout I created using the May kit and this very special photo!
I decided on a 8.5×11 layout since I was using only one Instax photo. I am really loving this size of layouts! I kept it very simple and clean and I do love how it turned out! This one will be hung up in my craft space for sure! Amy is one of my all time favorite designers and I fall in love with everything she comes out with! Meeting her this year was a highlight for me for sure!
Thanks so much for stopping today and I hope you enjoyed my layout using the May 2015 kit! Your next stop is Lacey! Please remember to comment along the way for your chance to win your own Carnival kit! Share on Facebook for a extra chance to win!

Hey Everyone! I have been super busy over the last few months but feel super blessed to be doing something I love and with some amazing ladies! Clique Kits has really taken off and we could not be happier! We will be celebrating our one year anniversary in April and it has been such an exciting year! If you have not yet been to the Clique Kits site I would love for you to take a moment and have a look around! Today I wanted to share a layout I created with our February kit. My scrap time has been reduced a little but I do try to make time to be creative! Our February kit featured the Serendipity collection from Dear Lizzy and was jam packed with goodness! I used one of the exclusive cut files for my background and backed the cut hearts with pattern paper from the kit.
Most of the embellishments came from the kit but I did pull some out from my stash like the Pinkfresh Studio
pink dots and some wood veneers. The photo is from my daughters 1st birthday party. She was totally digging into her cake and having the best time! She did eat the whole thing and then passed out in her chair! I had so much fun creating this layout and the cut out hearts were a lot of fun to back with the pattern paper! I hope you enjoyed my layout today! Clique Kits

Welcome to the Clique Kits March Blog Share! If you have arrived from the Clique Kits blog
then you are in the right spot! This month we are sharing projects created with the March 2015 Clique Kit J’adodre.
This months challenge was to add a pop of neon to our projects which was pretty simple with the We R Memory Keepers
Clearly Bold additions to the kit! I created two layouts to share today using this months kit. For my first layout I also pulled out the Kesi Art Geometric Heart Die
that is available in the Clique Kits Shop
and cut out a bunch of hearts from the beautiful paper in this kit! This die cuts so nice and is one of my new favorite dies!
I added a few embellishments to some of the hearts and added some black ink drops around the page and that was it. I love how it turned out and I love the look of the die cut hearts! My next layout is documenting my best friend and I. The photo was taken about 4 years ago on my birthday and we were out celebrating! We have always been party girls so I wanted to document this wild night we had! The Clique Kits exclusive flair was the perfect wild touch to the layout and the bold patterns match our style perfectly!
Not only do we have the fabulous blog share we are also revealing our April 2015 kit! Take a look at Happy Everything!

Hello! Welcome to the Clique Kits February blog share and giveaway! You should have arrived from the Clique Kits blog but if you were just stopping for a visit you can start this blog share from the beginning HERE. This month our kit featured the beautiful Serendipity collection from Elizabeth Kartchner also know as Dear Lizzy. We featured Elizabeth this month and you can read the Q&A with her HERE.
I had a great time creating with this kit and today I have two layouts to share with you today using the February kit.
This first layout is documenting my daughters school photo. I do not normally document these school photos but her outfit matched perfectly with this kit! Plus I always end up with a ton of the wallet sized photos so I might as well put them in her scrapbook! I love the simple and clean look of this layout.
My second layout is a 8.5×11 layout and this size layout has become my favorite! The photo is an instax of Michael and I at the bowling alley. He is my best friend and I would be lost without him! I used one of the exclusive Clique Kits cut files to fill the top of my layout and added a few embellishments around the hearts. I kept the embellishing and layers to a minimum and I just love how it turned out!
Remember to leave comments along the way to increase your chances of winning a February kit! Your next stop along the way is Jody and the whole blog share line up is listed below! Can you believe August is almost over! This is my last month as Design Team Member over at Let’s Scrap and my last sketch and layout to share with you as a DT Member! I will definitely continue to use their amazing sketches and share them with you all on my blog from time to time! If you have not already joined their fabulous community please head on over and join! You will not regret it! This week our sketch is sponsored by Scrapbook Studio.
To be entered into this weeks draw you must post your layout/card no later than September 3, 2013 at 11:59 pm (by the main page clock). Here is a look at this weeks Let’s Scrap sketch!
I used the right side of this weeks sketch as my inspiration and came up with this layout of my fancy little wild child!
You can see that I only used one photo because like I have said before scrapping one photo is just my kind of layout. I did not follow this weeks sketch exactly but I used it for my inspiration and turned into my own. I loved the placement of the large photo so I did use that and I really like the large title on the side and I just turned mine in a different direction than what the sketch shows. I love this Instagram of my daughter that I took last week. She had just had her hair curled by my friends daughter and they put a little light make-up on her and gave her a pair of their sunglasses! She is such a tomboy but she still loves to dress up and look a little fancy from time to time! She is growing up way to fast for this mama! I used some Maggie Holmes that I had left over and a few bits and pieces of different things that were on my desk, stamps from Paper Wings Productions, and of coarse my favorite Thickers! I thank you so much for stopping and I enjoy reading all of your comments! Thanks so much for all the bloggy love!! Have a Fancy day!!
