Hey friends! Today I am sharing a super sweet layout using the Echo Park Cupid & Co collection I received from A Cherry on Top Crafts. I also used some of the Sweet Talk collection from Simple Stories.
I recently took some photos of our pittie Lola Bean cuddled on the couch! She is totally obsessed with our new Valentines pillows! She loves this long skinny red one and she cuddles with it every chance she gets. She is not allowed to be on the couch unless there is a blanket down or we give her permission so she pulls the blanket down from the arm of the couch and gathers the pillows and makes herself a nest.
I had this cut file already cut that says Hooked on You and thought it would be perfect to go along with this photos. I backed the cut file with papers from the Echo Park Cupid & Co paper pad. For the background I used some white textured cardstock and used some Lindy’s Stamp Gang to add color. I popped up the cut file on some foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L and placed it onto the page.
I used embellishments from the Cupid & Co collection to embellish around the layout. I also fussy cut some florals from one of the 12×12 pattern papers. I pulled out some enamel dots from Simple Stories Sweet Talk collection and sprinkled around my page.
I found a sweet epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio and added to an embellishment cluster I created on the cut file. I love the pinks and reds on this layout and the little bits of black.
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure to head on over to the A Cherry on Top shop and check out all the sweet Valentine collections available!
Hey friends! Today I am participating in the A Cherry on Top January YouTube hop!
Here is the line up:
This month we are using a sketch as inspiration to create our projects!
You can check out all the details on the sketch challenge HERE!
I decided to go with an 8.5×11 layout and try to follow the sketch pretty close. I did change up the amount of tags and photos to fit my layout better. I love all the floral ephemera pieces in The Avenue collection by Pebbles.
Head on over to my YouTube channel to see my process video that goes along with this layout! If you are interested in the collection I used you can find it HERE at A Cherry on Top Crafts! Comment on all the videos today and you will be entered to win a $10.00 gift certificate to the A Cherry on Top Crafts shop! Have a great day!
Hey friends! I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend! Today I am up on the A Cherry on Top blog sharing a layout using the Paige Evans Go The Scenic Route collection. This collection is so fun and colorful and I have seen it used for so many different types of layouts!
I found a cut file from Lacey Ann Designs that I thought would be perfect to go along with the photos. I backed it with a single piece of pattern paper from the Paige Evans Go The Scenic Route collection. I wanted to add the cut file to the page at a diagonal just to switch it up a bit and love how it turned out. I used a piece of white American Crafts White Textured cardstock as my base and trimmed it down to 11.50×11.50 which is usually the size I use when I want to mat it on a piece of pattern paper.
I pulled out both of the Go The Scenic Route ephemera packs and pulled a bunch of the florals and butterflies out to add to my page. I like to add some elements directly on the cut file. I think it brings attention to the large title piece. Popping these elements up on foam adhesive gives lots of dimension to the page. One of my favorite foam adhesives is the black foam squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L!
I used one of the puffy stickers and layered it on the butterfly adhered to the cut file. The puffy stickers in the Go The Scenic Route collection are so pretty and I just love the soft feel of them! If you have not yet picked up this sticker back you can find it here in the ACOT shop! It is really a great set and can go with so many other different collections. To finish up my layout I matted it on Paper 8 from the collection. I love all the colors in this paper and think it really makes the layout pop. To see the full layout head on over to the A Cherry on Top blog HERE!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you have been inspired to use the Paige Evans Go The Scenic Route collection! Have a wonderful day!

This month we are using mood boards as our inspiration.
I pulled inspiration from both boards. I loved the soft pink tones in the first board and falling snow. In the second image I loved the stars so made sure to add some stars on my layout. I went into my stash of products from A Cherry on Top and pulled out some older but just as fabulous stuff! I really loved the pink in the Honey & Spice collection from Heidi Swapp so I used some of it to back a new cut file from Cut To You. I thought the Color Flow paper would be the perfect paper to back all the trees! Using one patter paper to back all the trees at once made it quick and easy to get this file backed!
I also pulled out some of the Crate Paper Snowflake collection which is a beautiful winter collection! There is a specialty paper in this collection that has stars with gold foil on it that I thought would be fun to fussy cut! I used some of these fussy cut stars to back the stars on the trees of my cut file.
I wanted to create something soft for my background so I used some vellum and tore it into strips and adhered down to a piece of white American Crafts Textured Cardstock. I distressed the edges of the vellum with my Tim Holtz scissors and love how it turned out. To add a little extra to the background I used some gold mist to add some splatter to the background.
I pulled out just a few embellishments form the Snowflake collection like these little houses and tucked them in next to the cut file. I added a chipboard tree from the Snowflake collection and some word stickers above my photos! The photos are selfies from my first holiday drink from Starbucks this year! The holiday drinks are always my favorite and it is a new tradition for my daughter and I to go and get one and purchase a new holiday mug!
Thank you so much for hopping with us today! I hope you feel inspired to create with one of the mood boards we shared! If you do create a project using one of the mood boards please tag us on Facebook, Instagram or upload into the Cherry Gallery! I hope you all have a great week and let me know in the comments if you are Starbucks holiday drink fan!
Hey friends and welcome to the A Cherry on Top Blog Hop! You should have arrived from The Cherry Blog! I will have the line up down below for you and the link to your next stop at the end of my post. I am so excited for our hop this month! This month we decided to do something a little different and create albums or travelers notebooks! I just love creating mini books so I was so excited to get started.
Blog Hop Line Up
I really wanted to create something fun to document my November 2020 in and the Simple Stories Cozy Days collection was perfect! I will not be doing a daily grateful album but I will be documenting things that I love and that I am grateful for. I have set up my album and it is ready for photos and journaling and I am excited for this month!
To create my album I pulled out some of my favorite dies from my stash. A lot of these are just loose dies I keep in a zip pouch that I have had for years but I will leave links down below to similar dies I can find for you in the A Cherry on Top shop! I used different papers from the Cozy Days collection from Simple Stories. I just love all the colors in this collection. It definitely has a cozy warm feel to it and has many pieces that are perfect to document what you are grateful for.
The cut apart sheets from the collection are great to add to mini albums for journal spots or for photo mats! You an also just use them to add a pretty element to your book. Not every page has to have a photo on it. Including pretty images or a pretty die cuts to the album is something I love to do and adds some interest to your book!
I used a pretty rose gold binder clip to hold all my pages together and tied some ribbon and twine to it for some texture.
I can’t wait to fill this sweet book up with photos and journaling from this month. Once it is all filled up I will do a flip through on my blog and YouTube channel! For a last minute touch a saw some new cut files released from Cut to You. So I cut some out on some American Crafts white cardstock and backed them with papers from Cozy Days and added them to my album!
To check out the Cozy Days collection head on over to the A Cherry on Top shop! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my sweet little mini album! If you create your own album I would love to see it! Tag me on Facebook or Instagram! Your next stop along the way is Natalie!

Hey friends and welcome to the A Cherry on Top October Blog Hop! You should have arrived from the Cherry Blog! This month the team decided to create using pumpkins as our inspiration!
I really wanted to use the brand new Pumpkin Spice collection from Doodlebug Design and a fun cut file from Jillibean Soup available in the Silhouette Design Store! The collection and the cut file are the perfect match and I had so much fun backing this cut file using the Pumpkin Spice 6×6 paper pad! I picked out a handful of patterns I wanted to use and stuck with those papers to back the cut file. I try to pick out my papers before I get started and I usually stick with 3-5 different papers so it does not get to crazy!
I love using big title cut files like this on my layouts. It helps me to use a lot of different pattern papers and colors and make a big statement on my page.
I had some fun selfies from when I had my first pumpkin spice latte of 2020! I just had to take a photo right!? I also tried one of the Starbucks pumpkin cream cheese muffins! YUM! It was so good! I printed my photos at home and they are just under a 2×2 size. I added them to the top of the cut file and added in some Pumpkin Spice stickers and die cuts to each side of the photo.
I tucked in a couple stickers at the top of my photos that came from the 12×12 Pumpkin Spice sticker sheet. I love all the adorable faces on the Doodlebug icons! I really like to have some stickers or die cuts peeking out around the cut file so I used the Pumpkin Spice mini icon stickers to add around the cut file!
I think it is so fun to see the little faces on these icons peeking out around the cut file! I had so much fun working with this collection! It has the perfect color palette for fall photos! Here is a look at my completed layout!

I am so in love with the Simple Stories Kate & Ash
collection so I knew I really wanted to use it on this layout of my daughter! School and reading have always been a struggle for our girl ever since she was in pre k! We always knew something was up and tried to hold her back and we were told she would catch up..well she never caught up. It wasn’t until late into her 4th grade year when we really pushed and pushed and got the help and answers we needed and her next few years were so much better! She now has an IEP and had some amazing case works and helpers who understand the way she learns. This summer we found some books at the Dollar Tree that she has really enjoyed! It makes this moms heart happy to see this girl reading a book!
I found the cutest cut file from Cut To You that I backed with papers from the Kate & Ash collection from Simple Stories. Using a cut file like this with a title and the books really helps to make a page come together! The colors and prints in this collection are so pretty, fun and perfect to document my girl at this stage in her life.
I used a piece of American Crafts white cardstock
as my base and trimmed it down a bit so I could mat it on one of the pattern papers form Kate & Ash! I went with one of the black papers with print so it helped the layout stand out. I really love when collections are colorful like this with pops of black! I popped up all the cut files using foam adhesive I picked up at A Cherry on Top
and placed them towards the bottom of the layout. I tucked in a die cuts from the Kate & Ash
collection around my cut file. I also added some stickers form the 12×12 stickers sheet
. Since there are so many colors and patterns going on in the cut file I kept the embellishments light. To finish it off I added some Kate & Ash enamel dots
and my jounaling. Here is a look at my completed layout using the Simple Stories Kate & Ash
collection from A Cherry on Top

I love all the colors and patterns in this collection and they look so great behind this cut file. For my background I used the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide
ink pad and the Tim Holtz Distress Spray
. I added some ink to an acrylic block and added water using my spray bottle. I picked up the color using some clear packaging and added it to my white American Crafts textured cardstock
. Once it was dry I went in with some of the Speckled Egg Distress Spray
to add some splatters. Once everything was completely dry I added foam adhesive to the back of my file and adhered down to my background. I love how the color looks peeking out around the cut file.
This collection was perfect to document our little cruise to get some ice cream in our new car. Not all adventures have to be big! You can always turn something into an adventure!
This color is a great new addition to the line up! It is going to be fun to use it on fall and winter projects as well and I can’t wait! You can see the full line up of Speckled Egg HERE

For my project today I am using the Happy Butterflies stamps and die set along with the Flutters & Bloom paper pad. I also have the Catherine Pooler Mission sequins mix that is the perfect mix of sparkle! I pulled out the Sangria ink pad from Catherine Pooler Designs to add some color splashes to my background. To do this I just add some ink to an acrylic block, add some water and use a paint brush to pick up color and splatter around the page.
I found this pretty cut file from Rulana S Cut Files and cut it out on some white American Crafts textured cardstock with my Silhouette Cameo. You can grab this cut file HERE! I backed the cut file with papers from the Flutters & Blooms paper pad. For the leaves I wanted a plain green so I did the direct to paper technique with my Spruce ink pad to create the perfect colored cardstock to match. All you have to do is take your ink pad and swipe it gently across some Catherine Pooler smooth white cardstock.
I stamped out a few butterflies from the Happy Butterflies stamp set in Sangria ink and cut them out using the coordinating die cuts. I created a few little clusters around the page using flowers and butterflies that I fussy cut from the Flutters & Blooms paper pad. To finish off my layout I added my journaling using my We R Memory Keepers Typewriter and added some strips of Flutters & Blooms pattern paper to the top and bottom of the page. Here is a look at my completed layout!

Hey friends I am back with a layout using the beautiful Pink Paislee 5th & Monaco collection I received in my monthly Design Team box from A Cherry on Top! I instantly fell in love with this collection when it released! It is even better in person friends! I love the beautiful floral designs and the colors! Oh and we can’t forget that there is a bold black and white stripe that always has my heart. I added everything I could from this collection to my DT box! I love it all! I have some new cut files to work with from Rulanas Cut files! She reached out to me recently and asked if I would like to create with some of her files and of coarse I said yes! They are so pretty and perfect for all types of paper crafts! You all know how much I love cut files and working with small businesses! I knew the Floral Borders cut file would go perfect with the Pink Paislee 5th & Monaco collection.
I really wanted the Floral Borders cut file to stand out so I decided to cut it out on some black textured cardstock. I just love how it pops on this page against the colors in this collection. It helps the pink flowers and green leaves really stand out against the pattern paper background I picked out.
I would normally pull a piece of white cardstock for my base but I had to use Paper 10 from 5th & Monaco on this layout! I love how the black cut file looks against this polka dot paper! I embellished the layout using die cuts, stickers, dimensional flowers and an epoxy flair from Scrappin Happy Studio. For my title I used one of the gorgeous gold phrase puffy Thickers. Here is a look at my completed layout!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you will head on over to Rulanas Cut Files and have a look at all her beautiful files. To get your crafty hands on this collection from Pink Paislee you can find it HERE at A Cherry on Top.
