Hey friends and welcome to the A Cherry on Top October Blog Hop! You should have arrived from the Cherry Blog! This month the team decided to create using pumpkins as our inspiration!
I really wanted to use the brand new Pumpkin Spice collection from Doodlebug Design and a fun cut file from Jillibean Soup available in the Silhouette Design Store! The collection and the cut file are the perfect match and I had so much fun backing this cut file using the Pumpkin Spice 6×6 paper pad! I picked out a handful of patterns I wanted to use and stuck with those papers to back the cut file. I try to pick out my papers before I get started and I usually stick with 3-5 different papers so it does not get to crazy!
I love using big title cut files like this on my layouts. It helps me to use a lot of different pattern papers and colors and make a big statement on my page.
I had some fun selfies from when I had my first pumpkin spice latte of 2020! I just had to take a photo right!? I also tried one of the Starbucks pumpkin cream cheese muffins! YUM! It was so good! I printed my photos at home and they are just under a 2×2 size. I added them to the top of the cut file and added in some Pumpkin Spice stickers and die cuts to each side of the photo.
I tucked in a couple stickers at the top of my photos that came from the 12×12 Pumpkin Spice sticker sheet. I love all the adorable faces on the Doodlebug icons! I really like to have some stickers or die cuts peeking out around the cut file so I used the Pumpkin Spice mini icon stickers to add around the cut file!
I think it is so fun to see the little faces on these icons peeking out around the cut file! I had so much fun working with this collection! It has the perfect color palette for fall photos! Here is a look at my completed layout!
