Happy Tuesday everyone! I am here today with the September Challenge for Embellish Me Happy! This month we challenge you to DIY! The possibilities are endless with this months challenge! You can create your own embellishments, alter a frame, and so on. Just have fun with it and Do It Yourself! For my project I took a plain picture frame I picked up from the dollar bins at Michael’s and altered it into a chalkboard Christmas frame. I plan to set this in my kitchen and let the kids count down the days in December. I will leave a piece of white chalk out for them to change the date everyday! I used some Martha Stewart chalkboard paint and some washi tape I purchased from our sponsor this month SpiegelMom Scraps! I also created a super cute poinsettia flower to add to my frame!
Here is a look at my altered frame for the September Embellish Me Happy Challenge!
Thank you so much Erica! You'd never know all those little gold triangles were Washi :)!!! Your countdown frame is a fantastic, interactive DIY project!!
