I absolutely love the Autumn season and all the many beautiful colors!  For my project I have created a tag with some beautiful Autumn colors!  I started with a plain Ranger #8 size manila tag and went to work to create this great tag for my journal.

I stamped the Circle Background Stamp all over my tag with VersaMark and heat embossed it with some UTEE by Ranger.  I then added some Rusty Hinge, Ripe Persimmon and Crushed Olive Distress Ink to my non-stick craft sheet and spritz with some water.  I placed my tag directly into the ink making sure to pick up some of that great color and then heated it with my heat gun.  I love this technique and the colors just scream Fall!!  I then went to work embellishing my tag and used an image from the Fall Clip Art sheet and also stamped out one of the fall sentiments from the Little Halloween Clear Stamp Set into this great little charm and popped it up from the clip art.  I also added one of the Chipboard Nesting Circles to my tag and some great flowers and leaves from my stash.  I love the way it turned out and I can not wait to add it to my journal!

I hope you enjoyed my tag and were inspired in some way to create something with the many colors of Autumn!

  1. With this sumptuous tag it's not difficult to see why Autumn is a lovely season in which to sit back and relax into. I love bright colours and am pleased you've changed my mind about how I see the season.

  2. So much to see and to love packed into this little project! Love all the details. I can just sit and look at this for a long time and still discover little touches I hadn't noticed before. That splash of bright orange really adds flavor!!
